OPENING TODAY! “BUILDING LIGHT” June 25-29, 12-6pm daily
The members of Community Hinterland come together for a collaborative installation exploring light as medium and as subject - through an artistic and scientific lens they will illuminate the various attributes, qualities and curiosities of this foundational element of our existence. ⚡
Activating a historic building, the old hardware store on Main Street in Phoenicia, they will center raw materials in this raw space to construct an interactive exploration of this theme, inviting visitors to participate in a deep dive from the depths the ocean to the far reaches of space, reflecting on the light that animates us from within.
