Anan Fries

The catalogue to our exhibition New Rituals [for the End of the World] is officially available in bookstores & online.

It features commissioned essays by Günseli Yalcinkaya, who writes about the return of monster times and Dr. Jenny Stümer from the Centre for Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic Studies, who looks at rituals as profane illumination.

The book also features an introduction by the curators and an interview by Anan Fries with Taiwan’s Cyber Ambassador Audrey Tang on her Taoist understanding of tech and spirituality, on rituals and plurality.

We are truly honoured that Suzanne Treister, McKenzie Wark and Shumon Basar have accepted our invitation to devise new rituals for the catalogue.

Catalogue art direction and design is by iconic Mean Goddess.
