Our Rec-Mode SUPERSTAR, a high school senior, and her mom told me today SHE’S ON HER WAY TO HARVARD! ❤️👏🏾🔥🥊

I remember the FIRST DAY she walked into Rec-Mode. I asked her, “What do you want to do or be one day?” Her hesitant answer: “Maybe a lawyer.” DAY ONE earning her the nickname “COUNSELOR!” ⚖️❤️🙏🏾

Making sure she can still PROTECT HERSELF—even up in Massachusetts! 🥊💪🏾❤️

THIS IS WHY WE FIGHT SO HARD FOR OUR YOUTH! They need people who BELIEVE IN THEM, positive mentors, safe spaces, and programs that give them EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO SUCCEED!

TO OUR COMMUNITY, LEADERS & ELECTED OFFICIALS: INVEST IN OUR YOUTH! SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS, PROTECT THEIR SAFE SPACES, AND HELP OPEN DOORS!

Because you NEVER KNOW which child standing in front of you today will become tomorrow’s lawyer, doctor, leader, or the very person who changes our WORLD! ❤️💪🏾🌟
