Yesterday was a proper “pinch me” moment 🤸‍♀️

If you’d told me four years ago that I’d be an award finalist sat in Apple Podcasts HQ hearing the latest insights from their team,I’d have been very flattered but also slightly questioning your grasp of reality…! 😁

And then later to share a room buzzing with energy, ideas and filled with creators from all sorts of backgrounds at @indpodawards was simply mindblowing 🤩

I didn’t win.

But also I really did 🏆

Because to me, going along for day was about celebrating the idea of starting something with no idea of where it might lead…

And of showing up consistently - not because I had to or was focused on a goal, but because of the sheer joy and energy I get from having my everyday adventure conversations - and the knowledge that they’ve helped a few other people along the way too ❤️

The Everyday Adventure Podcast is just one, relatively small, part of my work and life - but it’s one that gives back in spades.

So to anyone who is at the start of something that matters to them and is worried that they have no idea where it’s going, my advice is to ask yourself the following questions:

⭐️ Does this thing light me up?
⏰ Can I carve out a small pocket of time to give to this thing, without burning out?
🤯 Can I live with the “not knowing”?
❤️ Would I keep doing it if no one was watching?

If you’re answer is yes to all four, it’s absolutely enough - time to enjoy the ride because you never know where it might lead…✨😊
