This year, 26 young women from Tanzania joined the TuWezeshe Akina Dada Feminist Leadership Training, contributing to a growing global network of over 600 young women equipped with leadership skills to claim civic and political power, champion women’s and girls’ rights, and mobilize collective action to end violence against women and girls (VAWG).
Their growing numbers represent a generation of young women building the confidence, knowledge, and collective strength to influence decisions, challenge inequality, and drive lasting social change.
The potential is there; let's keep investing in young women and strengthening the movement for gender equality.
