Made a quick trip to Alpine to see the Texas Trappings show at the @museumofthebigbend where we caught up with several artist friends and met some new ones! We stopped in at the V6 Gallery at the @gageresort where I have some of my work and enjoyed a drink and a bite to eat at the White Buffalo Bar. If you’ve never stayed at the Gage, I highly encourage a visit - as I do a visit to Alpine! We thoroughly enjoyed the opening events, demos and beautiful art! Ironically we finally met a fellow Christoval resident, @wilsoncapron whose silversmithing work is truly breathtaking! We also found some time to check out some of our favorite shops in Alpine - @front_street_books and Cheshire Cat Antiques where I spotted this great vintage fringed suede jacket, and yes, I did bring it home with me! 😉 The exhibition is up for several more weeks and there are still some amazing pieces to be had you can view online!
